mOOdy Merdeka... :s

Hey, the whole night was spend on thinking where to heed, came out late & went to Cyberjaya if there's any fireworks leftover. I told my 'rents but they don't believe me it was announced on FLY that yesterday was the last night. Should they do it as today's the last night as more appropriate-the Eve. Duh~! Found nobody there in Putrajaya & Cyberjaya, only 2-3 guys with tripod trying their luck.

Whatever! We ate dinner at Ming Chu(my chinesse name!) in Equine Park & still contemplating where to go for the national day celebration?!?!

I just came back from the trip passed through KL Pavillion & Berjaya Times Square, where people came out on foot to await the countdown. But within 2 minutes managed to get out of that place to a nearby spot to park the car & set up the tripod. Me and my family (my dad, mom & bro-sis missed out as usual) stopped at the Jln Maharajalela if I could remember infront of "the Pearl@KLCC" showrroom office. It was quite empty spot, only another car family was parked there. Pavillion should open up for some midnight high fashion shopping!

Gosh, where's the party? Seriously, didn't spot any flags stick on cars. Only some foreigners, young adults & thrashy youths came out looking for the party. Nobody's in the mood to party I guess this year coz there's no "traffic jam-bottleneck-choked up" as expected though like how my major last public celebration in Singapore for the New Year 2008. There's the police trucks & a few traffic cops. But seriously too little people on the street 'til a drive passed through & decided to go to a nearby quiet spot instead.

So, everyone looked on at the twin towers awaiting the fireworks. Not! It's on the other side nearby Times Square instead with a short around 2 minuetes display?! OK, so tried out the SLR & tripod not needed. It was better last year at the Putrajaya.
Get some shots, finish, get yelled over by a bunch of apartment guys, "Baliklah, dah habis!", say "Happy Merdeka!" in the cheesiest way to anybody passed by, get in the car & drove back home. Oh, it's a simple one this year or not I couldn't get into the capital especially on this time of year on other years. So, it's my 1st time drove into KL on national eve day. Nobody wished me yet. A few texts send out by me but I guessed they all rather sleep today. BooHoo! [waved the jalur gemilang alone anyways]

Next time, I'll throw my own party! The best is still those private parties! Too bad, my friends balik kampung this semester break-let them hang with their family for the national day.

Oh yes, there was a Mat Rempits gathering at the Shell on Sungai Besi highway as we passed by on the way home. Come on, let them show their support! (on taking over the streets on our national day :S)(they are not having any flag also)50 guys, I guess.

the 31st

My birthday falls last month on the same date, joked that I'm a month early to arrive by the storks. And it's my pretty half-Californian friend's birthday-the Merdeka Babe (too bad she's born in America) who will celebrate her birthday on the same day as my nation 51st. She's half Muslim-Malay-Kuala Terrenganuan & half white Cali gal. So she's a beach babe enjoying her life on our shores. Come on everyone, let's do karaoke style to sing this song: "Here In My Home"! (If I was the music video director, I wouldn't be too lazy to just let the local singers hanging around on stage. Atleast use your utmost creativity in the multimedia animation or something to wow the world over to showcase our nation beautifully scenic shots. Duh~!)

Which Singaporean blogger are you?

Congratulations Pearl, you are...

'Xia Xue' Wendy Cheng of xiaxue.blogspot.com

You are a goddess/god. You've got the looks, the brains and the body. You have such an irreverent sense of humour, people listen to you religiously and worship the ground you walk on. On the other hand you can also be straightforward, blunt and very very controversial. That has the potential to offend many people, but of course you don't care, you just shoot. In the end, people either love you or hate you. Nothing in between.

Which Singaporean Blogger Are You?

F*ck, I took this from kennysia. Period.

Infrared Sauna Treatment for Eczema

If you have severe eczema and most of the doctor prescribed treatments have been unsuccessful, then you might want to consider infrared (IR) sweat treatment. You will be surprised with the amazing results you will get from IR treatment.

Eczema is commonly located in the folds of the skin. Most people have it behind their knees and in front of their elbows. However, if is also known to cover areas like the neck, face, and all over the body. Eczema is commonly confused with psoriasis because it has similar characteristics of being red and itchy.

The causes of eczema are not certain but it is speculated by doctors that certain things can influence eczema in developing on your skin. Many of the things doctors believe cause eczema include environmental factors, hypersensitivity to the skin to fabrics like wool, and low air humidity can cause eczema. When people have eczema they have to be very careful about the types of creams and perfumes they use on their skin. High stress factors can cause large breakouts of eczema also. No matter what the cause of this particular skin problem, eczema is something that sticks with people for life. It isn't something that will go away forever. However, there are treatments that can minimize the effects of eczema.

Most people are amazed with the results of IR cabins for treating eczema. The IR sweat treatment increases blood circulation by deeply penetrating the infrared energy into the body. When the body's circulation is increased it allows for the body to transport more energy and nutrients throughout the body. Skin needs good circulation. Poor circulation is responsible for wrinkles and other problems with the skin because the skin cells die when they don't have the circulation and oxygen needed to survive. The skin is rejuvenated and healthier when it has more oxygen and circulation running through it.

When you sit in an IR cabin and sweat, you are actually cleansing your pores thoroughly. The IR cabins force your skin to sweat pushing out all of the toxins in your skin and body leaving it healthier looking. Not only are you cleansing your pores when you sit through an IR sweat treatment but you are cleansing your body and your immune system. This is a big factor in controlling inflammation which is considered a major cause of skin problems.

Eczema is itchy and can be very painful for some people. Many people have tried every topical out there trying to rid of the itchy skin and dryness associated with the skin problem and nothing works for them. When sitting in an IR eczema treatment, many people have said that the itching of their skin is gone and they see results of the skin beginning to heal.

It is recommended to people with problems of eczema when they are interested in an IR sweat treatment that they begin for two to three times a week. It is important to be on a regular schedule with the treatments so the skin has the appropriate opportunity to heal. If you go in for just one treatment then any immediate results you might see or notice with the itching going away will only be short lived.

People from all over the world have been using the use of an IR sweat therapy to cure their eczema and minimize the problems associated with it because the sweat therapy treatments are having greater results then the topicals they have been trying for years. Doctors have confirmed success with the use of sweat therapy not just for curing problems with eczema but also for releasing toxins from the skin. The treatments are also known to release stress in the body and stress can trigger major outbreaks of eczema in the skin.

You don't have to worry about the side effects of creams, ointments, and steroid creams anymore because the IR eczema treatments are totally natural and have no side effects at all. You won't have anymore broken blood vessels and stretch marks due to the thinning of the skin. The IR treatments will allow you to be confident about what you are wearing because your skin won't look so horrifying anymore. You won't have to worry about insensitive people making rude remarks about your skin also.

If you have tried all of the medical treatments and prescription creams to eliminate your skin problems with eczema and the pain associated with the itching it causes then you should consider IR treatments. You will notice an amazing difference with your skin and the itching going away.
